Topic : PLEASING THE LORD IN A TIME LIKE THIS 
 
Text : Heb 11:6 

INTRODUCTION

The requirements for those that want to please the Lord at a time like this may look difficult but is very possible and easy to do . This can only be achieved by the grace and power of the Holy Spirit who helps us to seek God by Faith and to walk worthy of our calling in obedience and submission to the WILL of God.

You may not have many friends if you are determined to please God in such a time like this but honestly , the best friend to have is JESUS .Colossians 1:9-14

WHAT A LIFE THAT PLEASES GOD LOOKS LIKE 
1. Bears Fruit , Matt 7:15-17 
2. Grows in knowledge 
3. Being Strengthened 
4. Giving Thanks 
5. Knows God 

A. Bearing Fruit : our heart and lives goes together so if your outward life does not correlate with your salvation that you confess to have , we can conclude that there is no change in your soul. 
John 15:4 ” Remain in me ……….and I will remain in you . You can’t go outside the world to bear fruit in Christ to abide in Him will bring out the fruit naturally . 

B. Growing in Knowledge : In order to please God in this end time, you need to grow more in the knowledge of God so that you will not be deceived by strange doctrines. On the negative these days, people seek God because of what they want God and we end up using God . When a child goes to the parents only when he or she needs something , the parent may not feel loved and that is how many of us treat God . God needs people to fellowship and serve Him without any ulterior motive . 

C. Being Strengthened ( HANG IN THERE ) : You must desist from complain , grumbling and murmuring . Complainers lack the face of Faith . Praising and gratitude attitude is healthier as children of God. When you are encouraged and strengthened even in the face of adversity , it separates the men from the boys . 

D. Giving Thanks : The life that pleases God is the life lived gratefully . Gratitude begins when we realize we do not deserve what we have . Gratitude begins when we learn to open our eyes to blessings we take for granted . Gratitude begins when we see how wonderful our savior is to us . 

E. Knowing God : The book of Daniel 11: 32 says ” Those that know their God will be strong and they will do exploit but on the negative , those that does not know their God will be weak and they will be defeated . I pray that we will not be defeated in Jesus name . 
God is not obligated to work through thousands of people but through a few that are ready to go all the way for Him . 

CONCLUSION
God is still seeking for bold, brave and uncompromising servants to use in this end time. God is still looking for wise and discerning Isaccahs of our days . God is still looking for people that will possess the special insight to Gods agenda in His word . 
Brethren , we must understand the shortness of the time where gross darkness is covering the earth and God is depending on us to shine as the light and win several souls for God .

TOPIC: Heralding the Dominion Era of the Church
TEXT: Isaiah 25:6-8. What is Dominion?
– Taking control of the affairs of life. Gen. 1:26.
– Having it always the way a man wants it. Matt. 8:9-10.
– Being in command in one’s field of endeavor.
– Having authority from on high to reign in life.

Rev. 5:9-10. There is no disadvantage citizen/nation on earth. Mark 11:28-31. The authority that enthroned us is from heaven to reign on earth; so it cannot be checked on earth. Philip. 3:20. We are heavenly citizens on mission on earth. Rom. 5:17. We are enthroned through Jesus Christ to reign on earth. Dan. 7:27; Psalm 110:1-2.
We serve a God of time and season who make everything good in its time. Eccl. 3:11. It’s not about ability nor capability,God makes everything beautiful in its time. We are in a time that God ordained church to have dominion.
The end-time church is ordained a reigning church. Isaiah 2:2-3. The authority in the last days shall be domiciled in the church. It is God’s agenda. Acts 2:16.

Be sensitive to God’s timing. Psalm 81:2
What is Zion? Heb. 12:22-24.

Zion is the church in prophecy. Psalm 87:4-6. The giants of these end-time shall be domiciled in the church. The most notable citizens of the earth shall be found in church. Psalm 87:6-7. The largest employers shall be doing in the church.

How to Work in Dominion?
What you see is great, but it has nothing to offer until received. You receive the seed into your fertile mind. We believe it in our heart. We declares and we put to work and work in the consciousness of it. 1 Sam. 2:3.
1. God tells you.
2. See/find it.
3. Receive it in your mind 4. Believe with your
heart 5. Declare it with your mouth.
6. I put my part to it to work.
7. Work in the conscious of it.
8. Be assured (fully persuaded) that God’s integrity is committed to perform it.

We are redeemed to work in Dominion. Eph. 5:8; Psalm 74:20. To work in dominion is to walk on light.

God is ready to prove in this end-time that the heavens do rule on the earth. Dan. 4:25-26. Eph. 2:6. We are heavenly-rulers on the earth.
Whatever you cannot say boldly, you cannot have it. Matt. 12:34. Be rooted in the Word. Whatever you believe in your heart is working in the night. Eccl. 9:10.
Adopt that process for every truth that you find/encounter.
Isaiah 14:24-27.

According to biblical prophecy, churches like nations will continue to rise in this end-time. Zac. 8:22. The manifestation of church’s glory shall humble the nations. This is how things can work with dignity in the church. In the same vein, men and women shall begin to rise in this end-time. Gen. 14:14-15. Abraham had an army that could conquer a nations army.
Matt. 19:11. Isaiah 42:13.
Obadiah 1:21.
Matt. 5:14.
Isaiah 60:2-3.
Isaiah 59:14-15. You hardly can locate truth anywhere in the world today. The world is full of deception. But the church is the pillar on ground for truth. 1 Timothy
3:16.

One must dominate his life before he can dominate his world. Heb. 1:6. Until one is rescued, he cannot rescue others. Mark 7:3-6. This is where dominion begins. It begins with you dominating issues of your life.Eph. 2:6; 1:21.
Sickness is the greatest of all affections. Matt. 8:7. You have to dominate your issues to dominate your world. Stop considering anybody’s opinion. Abraham didn’t consider the death of Sarah’s womb; he considered only the world.
You can never dominate what you will not despise. You cannot dominate what you don’t despise. You despise by the word of God.
There is no power but of God. Rom. 13:1.
Psalm 34:2. My soul shall boast in the Lord. Whatever you want comes; that’s what is called wealth.

Never look up on man and then on God. Keep your eyes only on Jesus and work in Him. Jesus is always there. Psalm 21:1; Psalm 34:5. Anything you add to Jesus will frustrate your life. Don’t let your trouble push you to the devil. James 1:7.
At the age of 20, you are responsible for your destroy; your destiny is left in your hands. Num. 1: 3.

God doesn’t need you and me for anything, we need him for everything?.
Death will be disgrace in this end-time. John 5:25. Conclusion
Any truth that has been revealed to you …. In ashamed to declare in you mouth…. shall become the reality on your life. That’s what makes a difference.

Being in command of the affairs of your life is the beginning of dominion.
Salvation is the foundation to our dominion. 1 John 5:4. You cannot have inheritance in a family you don’t belong. Salvation is what makes anyone a member of Jesus family. Dan. 7:27. Salvation is not an ideology but a conscious decision. New birth makes you an overcomer.

INTRODUCTION

Time is life and it cannot be chained or tied down . Is a great blessing that this word is coming at the beginning of the year in order to help us set a right priority because of the time we are in . We will be discussing from the book of 2Timothy4:1-8.
For everything God created or has made , there is a purpose for it . There is a purpose of God for the time that you and i are in , i pray that you will fulfill your God’s given purpose in Jesus name.

WHAT TIME ARE WE IN?
* We are in a JET AGE where the time flies *We are in the age o fNEW DISCOVERIES
* We are in the age of FAST ACTIONS e.g FAST FOODS
* We are in the age where KNOWLEDGE IS INCREASING FAST and the WISDOM OF MAN IS CONTENDING with the supernatural act of God .

What will make life meaningful and historic is how you live it . The value you add to life or that you are leaving In a time like this count a lot.
In a time like this, there are 3 Sincere questions i will like You to ask yourself:
1. AM I VALUABLE ?
2. AM I WORTHY OF ADDING VALUE ?
3. DO I HAVE ANYTHING TO OFFER ? ( you can’t give what you don’t have )

Our bible text made us to know the things we need to do in a time like this so that we can scale through the negativity of this time.
“But you be watchful in all things , endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.” If you and I fail to adhere to the words of this verse of the bible , our essence of existence has been aborted. I pray your essence of coming to this world and knowing Christ will not be aborted in Jesus name.

Brethren , a close and conscious care needs to be taken at such a time like this. It is not enough for you to go to church , read the bible or speak in tongues but most importantly is to full your ministry ( your God’s giving Destiny) .

WHAT ARE THE THINGS YOU NEED TO DO IN A TIME LIKE THIS?
1. Your spiritual life is critical and important 1peter 2:2-3 . You need to grow from the level you are to a greater level spiritually . Col. 1:9-10, Col. 2:6-7
2. You need to be purposeful and the reason of your existence must be clear to
you . We all have a purpose and none is less – useful .
3. You are purpose built and intentionally constructed by God and He wants you to fulfill that purpose. 1pet 2:9 , Ps. 139:14
4. In time like this, you must be heavenly focused because a heavenly focused and purposeful man cannot be killed, rejected, distracted and hindered.
5. In time like this, you need to develop a lifestyle that is different from the usual 2Tim. 4:7-8 , Jh 17: 4-5 . You and i will give an account on the last day of what we did in a time like this .

On a conclusion, my dear brethren no matter how challenging, tedious or busy this time may be , do not forget that your basic and single essence is to fulfill your essence of creation . Please evaluate yourself and begin to live a Faithful life that your maker ( God ) require from you .

Beloved ” IF YOU ARE NOT BUSY FOR GOD IN SUCH A TIME AS THIS, the Devil will make you busy with things that will lead to your destruction. You will not be destroyed in Jesus name.

FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING: SECRET OF OVERWHELMING BLESSING.

TEXT: Proverbs 3:9-10; Romans 11:16, Leviticus 23:10.
Proverbs 3:9 says Honor the Lord with thy substance, and with the FIRST FRUITS of all thine increase: Verse 10 says: So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy presses shall burst out with new wine.
Rom.11:16 says for if the FIRST FRUITS be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
Leviticus 23:10 says “When you come into the land which I give you and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest,”Leviticus 23:10. It is to be set apart as holy unto God.

INTRODUCTION
The Bible is replete with virtually inexhaustible provisions for Man’s comfort here on earth and in eternity. The oldest singular limitation is Man’s refusal to simply obey the WORD of GOD. 3 John 2 for instance reaffirmed God’s persistent intention and plan for man: Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prosper. However, God not wanting to appear to man as a Dictator, grants man the freewill to enjoy virtually endless benefits ONLY on the condition of total obedience, to the giver of these benefits -The Almighty GOD.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF FIRST FRUIT OFFERING

God instructed Moses to expose the secret of overwhelming blessings to His chosen Nation of Israel. Moses obeyed God by stating the conditions precedent to man enjoying God’s overwhelming blessings. In the Books of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy, Moses stated the significance of FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING, in not less than thirteen (13) occasions.

Exodus 23:19 stipulates strict obedience to giving of FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING. He repeated this again in Exodus 34:26. To remove any ambiguity on the significance of FIRST-FRUIT, God expressly instructed Moses again in Leviticus 23:10 that the euphoria of victory and celebration of wonderful accomplishment must not be allowed to obliterate compliance with His instruction on FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING.

For brevity, let us itemize important points to note on FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING:

FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING must be taken to God’s house (Exodus 23:19; 34:26); The FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING must be delivered to the Priest of the Nation (Lev.23:10; Numbers 18:42) otherwise known as the High Priest as at then in Israel (Numbers 3:32);The FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING shall apply to all a man engages in for livelihood (Deuteronomy 18:4);The giving of FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING must be accompanied with worship (Deuteronomy 26:10); It must be offered once and during each cycle of harvest, which was yearly in biblical time (Nehemiah 10:35). It must however be noted that in situations of multiple planting seasons within one year, FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING becomes due after each harvest exercise; The FIRST-FRUIT is the exclusive preserve of the one considered the Nation’s Man of God (II Kings 4:42); and The FIRST-FRUIT in Hebrew is “bikkurim” and literally means “ promise to come.” And there is ONE who never breaks His promise God! That is why the truth behind this “promise to come”in God’s Word is so powerful. Though long overlooked by many, this divine establishment of God’s order of things is actually the root that governs the rest. When you KEEP FIRST THINGS FIRST through faith and obedience, you turn God’s promise into provision⋯ ABUNDANT PROVISION! The giving of FIRST-FRUIT must be done promptly along with payment of tithe (II Chronicles 31:5).

OVERWHELMING BLESSINGS OF GOD

Givers of FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING enjoy God’s comprehensive insurance. Jeremiah 2:3 says God issues automatic judgment on whoever or whatsoever attempts to devour givers of FIRST-FRUIT
Isaiah 61:7, “ Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours.”God can be called upon to specially favor the giver of FIRST FRUIT (Nehemiah 13:31); The Old Testament text: Proverbs 3:9-10, state clearly that in addition to God honoring the giver of FIRS-TFRUIT OFFERING, the giver also enjoys overflowing blessings from the Almighty God; The Old Testament text further implies that the honor rendered unto God by the giver of FIRST-FRUITS automatically attracts greater dimension of honor from GOD (I Sam 2:30b).FIRST-FRUITS are giving the first portion to GOD. Romans 11:16 says, “ If the part of a dough offered as FIRST-FRUITS is HOLY, then the whole batch is HOLY; if the root is HOLY, so are the branches”. Giving the first portion of your finances to God will cause all of your finances for the rest of the year to be HOLY. FIRST FRUITS causes God to treat your finances as HOLY giving you favor with GOD because your finances are connected to the FIRST FRUIT OFFERING. Ezekiel 44:30 “ The first of all FIRST-FRUITS of every kind and every contribution of every kind, from all your contributions, shall be for the priests, you shall also give to the priest the first of your dough to cause a blessing to rest on your house.” FIRST-FRUITS impart a blessing on your home. Many times a financial blessing is not our main need or concern. Having a blessing on your home positions you to have healing in your physical, spiritual and emotional needs for you and your family. When you give FIRST-FRUITS not only do you benefit but your saved and unsaved loved ones do also.

CONCLUSION

God’s intention is that Man lives a life of true dominion, comfort and overwhelming blessings. However, realizing this divine desire depends on Man’s prompt, total and consistent obedience to God’s instructions, one of which is giving of FIRST-FRUIT OFFERING.
